American Metals Market Names Union Pacific Railroad Logistics/Transportation Provider of the Year

Omaha, Neb., August 16, 2012 – Union Pacific Railroad received the American Metals Market (AMM) 2012 Logistics/Transportation Provider of the Year award. The railroad was recognized for its steel transportation services' ability to increase the ease of doing business among steel companies.

Union Pacific was the only railroad to receive an AMM Award of Steel Excellence.

A panel of judges from leading businesses in the steel industry and members of AMM's editorial team determined the winners. This award is given annually to companies that enhance the steel supply chain.
