Union Pacific Railroad's Linda Brandl Earns 'Profiles In Diversity Journal's' Women Worth Watching Recognition

Omaha, Neb., September 06, 2011 – Union Pacific Railroad's Linda Brandl is recognized in the 10th annual Women Worth Watching feature of the September/October edition of Profiles in Diversity Journal.  Brandl is vice president and general manager - Automotive, where she develops and implements market strategy and manages customer relationships for Union Pacific's Automotive marketing team.  Union Pacific's Automotive business generated more than $1.2 billion in freight revenue in 2010.

The magazine recognizes women executives who share personal leadership successes designed to encourage aspiring business leaders and help advance women into leadership ranks.

Brandl began working at Union Pacific in 1988, most recently serving as vice president of the company's national customer service center. She held management positions in the railroad's premium operations group and marketing and sales organization, including training and quality. She served as president of Union Pacific Distribution Services and assistant vice president - Energy.
