At Union Pacific we recognize that strengthening and utilizing businesses owned by minorities and women contributes to the economic growth and expansion of the communities we serve. Our policy is to offer these businesses the maximum opportunity to compete with other suppliers and contractors in the marketplace. We will assist in developing and strengthening these business relationships by maintaining active efforts to seek, identify and encourage their participation in our procurement processes.
