November 26, 2013 - Union Pacific Railroad recently introduced a new intermodal service offering between Chicago and Monterrey, Mexico, giving companies another reliable transportation option to move goods across the border six days a week. Trains carrying intermodal containers will interchange at Eagle Pass, Texas, to and from Ferromex, Mexico's largest railroad, which will operate trains between the border and Monterrey. Union Pacific and Ferromex have made significant terminal, track and equipment investments to optimize the operating success of this new service.

November 21, 2013 - Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE: UNP) announced that its Board of Directors today approved the early renewal of its share repurchase program, authorizing the repurchase of up to 60 million common shares by December 31, 2017. This new authorization is effective January 1, 2014, and replaces the current authorization, which will now expire on December 31, 2013, three months earlier than its original expiration date. The new four year authorization allows for the repurchase of another 13 percent of current outstanding shares.

November 14, 2013 - Union Pacific Railroad today announced that Big Boy No. 4014 has commenced the second phase of its journey to Union Pacific's Heritage Fleet Operations headquarters in Cheyenne, Wyo., from Fairplex, home of the L.A. County Fairgrounds in Pomona, Calif. The 1,260-mile trek began with No. 4014 moving across the Fairgrounds parking lot on temporary track installed specifically for the move, to Union Pacific's Colton, Calif., rail yard. It marks No. 4014's first move in more than two decades from its home at the RailGiants Train Museum.
November 13, 2013 - Recent track upgrades meeting or exceeding all applicable Federal Railroad Administration standards will allow Union Pacific Railroad to increase the speed of its trains from 30 mph to 49 mph on nearly four miles of its rail line in Wichita, Kan., between near 63rd St. and just north of the Arkansas River.
November 13, 2013 - Union Pacific Railroad will strengthen Nebraska's transportation infrastructure by investing $2.4 million in the rail line between South Morrill and Joyce, Neb. The project began on November 7 and is scheduled to be completed by mid-December
