Union Pacific Railroad Named by National Business Group on Health as 2010 Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles Winner
Omaha, Neb., July 23, 2010 Union Pacific Railroad has been named one of the 2010 Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles award winners from the National Business Group on Health (NBGH). Union Pacific is one of just 16 companies to earn platinum level status and is the only railroad or transportation company among the 66 employers recognized by the NBGH. Union Pacific is one of just five companies to be recognized all six years the awards have been presented.
The NBGH recognized companies that demonstrated continuing commitment to promoting healthy work environments and encouraging workers to choose healthier lifestyles.
