Your TCS User ID

It’s important that furloughed employees keep their TCS User IDs and passwords active. This will allow you to access information from the UP Employees site – such as board standings - and to keep your My Profile personal record updated with your current address and phone number.

The TCS User ID system will automatically suspend User IDs and passwords if they are not used within a 121-day period.

If your ID is still active, please register with P-Synch. After a one-time enrollment process, you can use P-Synch whenever you forget your password by answering three security questions to which only you should know the answers. When the questions are answered correctly, you'll be able to reset your password.

You can access P-Synch by typing “P Synch” in the Search Box on the either the Public site or the Employees site homepage. 

If your password already has expired and you have not enrolled in P-Synch, please call the Online Systems Services (OSS) help desk at 800-621-8953.

My Profile

Any employee with a TCS User ID and access to the Internet is able to use the employee self-service application, My Profile, to view and/or update much of the information on your PeopleSoft record.

You can access MyProfile from the Employees site ( by:

  1. Clicking on HR/Benefits at the top of the page, and
  2. Clicking on the My Profile link in the "My Personal Information" box.

In My Profile you can view (and in most cases update) the following information on your PeopleSoft record:

If you have questions about the self-service capabilities, ask your supervisor for assistance or contact the administrative support personnel for your department, region, service unit or shop.
