DREAM College Scholarship

The DREAM Scholarship Program is funded by the Union Pacific Railroad DREAM Organization. It was created to reward outstanding and talented graduates from North High School and Missouri Valley High School who have been involved in the UPRR DREAM organization.

Our scholarship is an award of up to $3000 to be applied toward tuition fees, books, and room and board (at university housing only – not applicable to off-camus/private housing) subject to review by the DREAM Scholarship Committee, at any accredited four-year college or university.

Who is Eligible?

Any student involved in DREAM who will have graduated by the Spring term from Missouri Valley High School or North High School, is eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Additional Requirements:

  • Attendance at 75% of organizational activities
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • Relationship w/mentor
  • Desire to earn a college degree

 

Instructions

Complete an Application Packet (PDF File) .

An application packet consists of the following items, in order and stapled:

  1. Application Form
  2. Essay
  3. Letters of reference - OPTIONAL (these do not need to be confidential).

Submit 3 copies of the completed application packets.
Applications must be postmarked no later than April 21, 2006, and mailed to:
