Mileage for Commonly Used Routes
To facilitate customer implementation of the Carload Based Mileage Fuel Surcharge, a list of mileages by Origin - Route - Destination is available. This is an unique listing of the most commonly used revenue routes for UP issued tariffs/circulars.
A customer can select either an Excel spreadsheet file or a CSV (comma separated value) text file which can be imported and utilized by customers. The data contents include:

Effective November 1, 2009
Mileages provided are sourced from PC*Miler Rail Fuel Surcharge router (FNII) Version 16, which will be used to calculate fuel surcharge mileages beginning November 1, 2009.
