WCTR operates freight switching service on 14 miles of track from a connection with CORP at White City, OR.  CORP hauls WCTR’s traffic to interchange with UP at either Eugene, OR or Black Butte, CA. Traffic includes lumber, plywood, other forest products, cement, sand and fertilizers. 

History

The White City Terminal & Utility Company started operations in November 1954. The present name was adopted soon after Union Tank Car Company acquired control in 1974. WCTR is now part of RailServe Inc, which is a part of the Marmon Group.
