T&P leases and operates freight switching service over 142 miles of track around Peoria, IL. The T&P leases the assets of the Peoria & Pekin Union Railroad (PPU) from its owners UP, CN and NS.  Connection are made with UP, CN, NS, IMRR, IAIS, TPW and BNSF.   

History

The PPU was incorporated in September 28, 1880 and is currently owned by the UP, CN and NS. On November 1, 2004 T&P started operations.
