Nature of Firm
Rock & Rail operates freight service on the former UP Tennessee Pass route between Parkdale, CO and a connection with UP at Canon City, CO (11.75 miles).
RRRR has also acquired the former BNSF operations between Pueblo and Canon City, which consists mainly of trackage rights over UP between those stations. This portion of the RRRR operations serves some intermediate stations.
History
RRRR bought the line in July 1998. Tourist passenger service through the Royal Gorge is provided by the Canon City & Royal Gorge Railroad. Colorado Materials acquired the line from the former bankrupted operator.
