BSR maintains and operates approximately 2.07 miles of rail line in Howard County, TX, over trackage owned by the City of Big Spring, TX.

BSR will be operating the line for Transport Handling Specialists, Inc., a nonoperating carrier, which is leasing the line from the City. BSR interchanges traffic with UP and is located just west of UP's Big Spring yard, extending southward from UP's Toyah Subdivision.

History

BSR was established in August 29, 2012 as part of an economic development project by the Big Spring Econic Development Corporation to create opportunities to transport and distribute product for customers.
