Interline Routing Agreements

Union Pacific works with interline connections to find the optimal routing so that your shipment arrives as quickly and consistently as possible. For customers combining rate factors from Union Pacific and at least one other carrier, the following agreements provide easy-to-interpret maps outlining the best gateway regardless of origin area or direction of shipment.

In addition to the routing information provided below, Union Pacific (UP) and Canadian National (CN) also have entered into a systemwide routing protocol. Contact your UP or CN Marketing and Sales representative for route selection.
