Register as a UP Customer

As a shipping customer, you may gain access to secured online Web applications not available to non-customers. These applications allow you to perform activities such as using our bill of lading application, car ordering and equipment tracing.

To use secured online applications (denoted with a ) a valid User ID and password and Track Agreement are required. To request a User ID and password, simply fill out and submit the Customer Registration Request. To begin the Track Agreement process, visit our Industrial Development section.

For those companies that have not previously conducted rail business with UPRR, we ask that you contact your Market and Sales representative before applying for a User ID. The Marketing and Sales representative will add your company into our Customer Master which will allow your User ID application to be processed.

Registrations are processed within three (3) business days, after which you will be contacted via e-mail with a conditional User ID and password. Full access will be available upon execution of your Track Agreement.
