Step 1: Getting Acquainted

"Getting Acquainted" allows new customers to determine if UP direct rail service is an option or if other options are more appropriate.

As you will learn in this section, a critical part of utilizing our rail service in the western United States is working with Union Pacific Industrial Development. In "Rail-Served Sites and Facilities," you will navigate out of the New Customer Welcome Center and into the Industrial Development section of the web site. Here you will be asked to identify your company's needs and complete a Service Feasibility Questionnaire. After we receive your request, a Marketing and Sales representative will contact you to discuss your opportunity. When you are finished reviewing the Industrial Development process, please return to the NCWC to complete your tutorial.
