South Bound Clearance Application
Quick Reference Guide
Southbound Clearance (SBC) is a Union Pacific online application for customers to manifest (clear or release) loaded railroad cars for furtherance into Mexico.
A User ID is required to pay for any invoice related to the Southbound Clearance (Despacho Previo) process. If you do not have a User ID, request one now by accessing our Registration Express.
Once your User ID has been assigned, please call our International Customer Service Center (ICSC) at 1-800-877-0531 from the U.S. or Canada and 1-800-520-1771 from Mexico for additional assistance.
