Deadline Approaches to Register for Electronic Invoicing Options
Customers are reminded to register now to receive invoices through Account on the Web or EDI systems
In July 2007, Union Pacific began encouraging customers to register to receive invoices via our web-based Account on the Web application (AOW) or our Electronic Data Interchange system (EDI). This change has successfully streamlined the flow of freight and accessorial billing information between Union Pacific and our customers.
Beginning April 1, 2008, Union Pacific will no longer supply freight invoices via U.S. mail or e-mail. To ensure there is no interruption in your invoicing, please register for AOW or EDI at your earliest convenience via one of the following methods:
- By e-mail at uprrwebfinance@up.com. Please include your name, company name and company telephone number.
- By phone at 1-877-712-4687. A Union Pacific representative can assist you with registration and help determine which method is best for your company.
